Comments: Bayamo, October 29, 2025. — The province of Granma is currently experiencing heavy and persistent rains, accompanied by increasing winds and significant rises in river and reservoir levels, according to local reports received this morning. The municipalities most affected by the wind force are Campechuela, Media Luna, Pilón, and Niquero, where considerable gusts and rainfall accumulations have caused flooding in low-lying areas. In Jiguaní, the water level rose above the main bridge, cutting off access to rural areas. The reservoirs are showing exceptional volumes: Corojo Reservoir: 1,232.7 cubic meters per second. Paso Malo (Bartolomé Masó) Reservoir: 340.9 cubic meters per second. Cauto del Paso Reservoir: 900 cubic meters per second. (The photograph is from Cueto, Holguín.
